Last night (10/30) the 7:30 tour group settled into a corner of the lobby of the Driskill, and I began telling the story of Jesse Driskill and the history of his famous hotel. One older man was particularly mesmerized, especially by the descriptions of how Colonel Driskill's spirit manifests itself in the hotel. I have never seen a guest so intrigued by single story. |

A capital metro driver took and Austin Ghost Tour and told the guide...One morning during the early morning hour of her shift, when she crossed 6th Street on Brazo's, near the front of the Driskill, a man appeared in front of the bus. He was wearing "old time clothing and carrying a watch on a chain." She stopped the bus and ran outside, but the was no man. |
